Approximately 6 billion yuan! New developments in the Huaining New Materials Industrial Park project of BIMT

Recently, at the construction site of the Anhui BIMT New Materials Industrial Park project in Huaining Economic Development Zone, the completion of the first steel structure hoisting for the No. 2 steel structure factory building marks the project's official entry into the main steel structure construction phase. Since commencing construction on May 14th, 2024, the construction team has spent a month achieving comprehensive connection of the main roads and full deployment of the construction surface.

It is reported that the total investment of the Anhui BIMT New Materials Industrial Park project is approximately 6 billion yuan, covering an area of 350 acres. After completion and operation, it will produce 50,000 tons of silicon-carbon anode materials and 200,000 tons of new conductive additives annually. The expected annual output value is about 12.5 billion yuan, with annual comprehensive tax revenue of about 450 million yuan. It will provide more than 1,200 employment opportunities and drive the development of upstream and downstream industrial clusters for power batteries and consumer batteries, injecting strong momentum into the development of Huaining's new energy industry chain and strengthening the new material production base.

According to available data, in 2023, the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Government made a strategic deployment to build a new energy vehicle industry cluster with international competitiveness, establishing the automotive industry as a priority. Huaining County focuses on the automobile parts industry and the new energy and new materials industry for power storage batteries, continuously enhancing its reputation as an "excellent unit for optimizing the business environment in the province," making every effort to attract large, strong, new, and excellent enterprises.
